It's not at all unusual for localized hematomas to spontaneously drain through the vagina or suture line. This usually occurs a week or greater after surgery as being the hematomas liquefy. The blood characteristically seems dark and old, and is not accompanied by clots. Whilst frightening for the affected individual, no treatment is indicated.The
